Compost/Post
Hello,
We have just moved into Flat 41 and need to know a few things, 1st; Does anyone know anything about compost in the local area/building? and 2nd; We were expecting a parcel and never received a delivery note and they are saying that it was a failed delivery. It would have been addressed to Ms Melanie Ried. If anyone has seen a delivery note floating about it would be great to get hold of it.

Firstly, the council does not yet have provision for properties such as ours to be included in the green waste box scheme. I have had discussions with our gardeners and we are investigation having our own compost bin, as soon as we get this sorted we shall advise. You may have already seen the bins for recycling certain items in Institute Place and there is a bin for recycling cardboard somewhere in Dalston Lane but I have yet to discover where! As soon as I do I’ll let you know.
Regarding your delivery note, there is a box on the wall, outside the Institute Place gate where your note may have been posted. Each resident was given a key, your previous tenants should have returned this to your landlord. If he doesn’t have one ask a neighbour to borrow theirs as I am afraid I don’t have any spares.
